Jesus taught about true worship. God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.  

Religions may have taught how they believe worship should be, but we should always use the Bible as our guide. Worship is not necessarily quiet.  Can you imagine a child coming to you and saying nothing.  Our Heavenly Father is seeking true worship. He wants to hear us. 

John 4:23-24

The Bible describes what it is like.  

In Heaven the Apostle John was given a vision of heavenly worship.   The Apostle John seen many angels around the throne of God and many souls that were in Heaven singing with a loud voice. Note the emphasis here a loud voice.  

Revelation 5:11-13

There are two songs we often sing in church based upon these verses. 

They are: 

·       Worthy is the Lamb 

·       Blessings and Honour 

You can view these songs online. 

You may not understand how people worship God in modern church groups where you see people raising their hands to God and singing with a loud voice and shouting unto God with a voice of praise.  This type of worship is recorded in the Bible.

 1.    What type of worship is God seeking from us?

4.    We express ourselves to God through our worship to Him. This is done through music, singing and praise. During this time people can be seen clapping their hands, lifting their hands to God, shouting out praises to God and singing with a loud voice.
